GROWING TIPS

Sow indoors with strong light, in 1/4 inch deep holes, 6-8 weeks before the last frost. To aid germination keep soil warm and moist, but well drained. When danger of frost has passed, transplant 3-4 inch seedlings outside to full sun. Water consistently and thin down spacing once plants are established. Light tip pruning promotes bushy growth; but it is best to let plants become established before the first true harvest. Sage is wonderful fresh or hung in bundles to use dry.

For best results transplant young seedlings; and thin down to 18 inch spacing once established.

for the best flavor snip leaves any time after the plant has matured. Never take more than half the plant. After flowers stop blooming, cut to the branch to encourage additional growth.
