Powderpuff Mix Asters burst forth in a variety of brilliant blooms in the late summer and fall. Large and mum-like, they're loved by bees and butterflies; and look fabulous in cut flower arrangements. GROWING TIPS

Plant outdoors in the spring after the last frost date, or start indoors 6-8 weeks earlier. Sow seeds evenly about 1/4 inch below the surface in rich, evenly moist soil. Aster does not handle drought well so water regularly to ensure the soil does not dry out. As they grow, these tall, slim plants may need support or staking. Deadhead worn out blooms encourage additional flowering. Cut Aster stems long, and place in water immediately, for long-lasting fresh flower displays.

Enjoy indoors or out! Bright, bold and cheery Asters are perfect for indoor gardening; but they're hardy enough to thrive outdoors in containers and garden beds as well!
