GROWING TIPS
Arugula can be grown from seeds in all zones; but it prefers cooler temperatures with full sun or partial shade. In cooler regions plant in the spring, late summer and fall. In warmer regions plant in the fall for a winter harvest. Disperse seeds evenly, 1-2 weeks before your last frost date, to create a bed of tender leaves. Keep soil evenly moist; and thin seedlings to about 6" apart during growth. (Use thinnings for salads.) To harvest cut leaves as desired and leave remaining leaves to mature on the plant for future harvests.
For Best Results: Arugula tastes best when the leaves are young, about 2-3" long. Cut individual leaves as needed. If flowers appear they are edible as well.
For a Continuous Harvest: Sow new seeds every 2-3 weeks to enjoy a continuous harvest all season long.
